Kedarnath
Located at an altitude of 3,583 meters, Kedarnath is one of the holiest Shiva temples. The Pandavas built this temple to seek Lord Shiva's blessings after the Kurukshetra war. The temple remains closed for 6 months due to heavy snowfall.

Situated between Nar and Narayan mountain ranges, Badrinath is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. According to legend, Lord Vishnu meditated here under a Badri tree, and Goddess Lakshmi protected him from harsh weather.

Built by Lord Rama before crossing to Lanka, this temple has 22 sacred wells. It's believed that bathing in these wells washes away sins. The temple is also famous for its magnificent corridors and pillars.
